Our small boutique style glass igloo resort is located in Finnish Lapland, close to the Levi holiday destination. Kittilä Airport is located an approximately 15-minute drive from us. During the high season, there are several non-stop international flights to Kittilä every week and several flights from Helsinki every day.
From one man’s dream to the best igloo experience in Lapland
Levin Iglut – Golden Crown originated from Tauno Mäkelä’s dream. He happened to end up on the slope of Utsuvaara where the view was unforgettable and wanted to share it with others as well. Four luxurious glass igloos were completed on the site in 2008. This also marked the beginning of a family business aiming to provide its guests the best igloo experience in Lapland. Nowadays, there are 27 glass igloos, and the services are supplemented by the Restaurant Utsu. Personalised heartfelt service continues to be the basis of everything we do.
